So my one acoustic guitar and my two electric guitars each have their own Kat Eyz stainless steel capo custom made to match their fretboard radius and the thickness of the neck. Here's my Kat Eyz capo (purchased from a fellow UMGF'er) at work and at rest on my 1987 HD-28BSE...the 2.3" inside measurement covers even my wider-necked 12-fret dreads all the way up the neck, although the 1.2" depth between the bar and the cushion makes the fit on some of them a little snug.Best Hi-End Collar Capo: G7? I play a D-28 without a strap button on the heel (like lots of people). I use one of those half inch wide leather straps with a button on it on the headstock just beyond the nut (again, like lots or people). But it's not a particularly easy opening type of clamp, so if I can't find a way to comfortably leave it on, behind the nut, I'll likely just resort to using a G7th or one of my other "C" type side ... He looked it over, took some measurements on the guitar and capo, then ended up taking it with him and is sending me a better fitting one when he gets home.
